Specifically, the tourism sector of An Giang Province got an increase of turnover by 38 percent, Kien Giang 28 percent, Can Tho 11.6 percent and Ca Mau 6.5 percent.

The Mekong River Delta Tourism Association will implement the program on tourism development cooperation in major economic areas in Mekong Delta zone and establish a managing board for delta and sea island tourism to leverage tourism potential in the regional cities and provinces.
