Japanese TV film seeks to capture Vietnam’s beauty
A camera crew from BS Japan Television arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on June 18 along with an actor and a model to make a film on Vietnamese tourism, a Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism spokesperson said.

They began their tour with visits to Nha Trang and Hoi An to capture the beauty of their landscapes and cultures.
 
Nguyen Van Tinh, director general of the Ministry’s International Co-operation Department, said people in over 200 countries and territories in the Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America have recently been seeing Vietnam on the BBC World News.
 
The Department plans to commission Star World and ESPN cable channels to make films about Vietnam, and expects this to spread the country’s image as an attractive destination for all tourists.
