| HCMC deluxe hotels reduce rates 50 percent |

| Rex Hotel-one of the deluxe hotels in Ho Chi Minh City | Some luxurious hotels in HCM City have promised to cut their rates by 30 to 50 percent in order to stimulate travel demand.
Many tourism companies and hotels Friday signed a commitment to implement a promotional campaign that runs from January to September.
There are 19 international tour companies and 12 three to five star hotels in the city joining the stimulus program.
