| Central Highlands to get international airport | |
An international airport called Phuong Hoang will be built at Tan Canh Commune in the Central Highland’s province of Kon Tum by 2015, according to the Management Board of the Bo Y International Border Gate Economic Zone.

The 700-hectare international airport is projected to cost US$6 billion. There are seven developers, both domestic and foreign.
The runway will be upgraded to allow short-distance flights by 2011.
After the project is finished, the airport will also train pilots and repair airplanes based in neighboring countries.
