Ha Noi to Invest in Tourism

The Ha Noi Tourism Department announced on Tuesday that it will invest in several Ha Noi travel spots inside and outside the city, as too many tourists leave the area due to the lack of entertainment.

The department will soon revamp several tourist destinations such as West Lake (Ho Tay), Soc Temple in Soc Son district, Co Loa citadel in Dong Anh district and Bat Trang ceramic village in Gia Lam district.

It is estimated that Ha Noi has received 780,000 foreign tourists and 3.5 million domestic visitors so far this year.

Hanoi’s tourism has so far generated a total turnover of around VND 8 trillion this year.

The city expects to attract many more tourists with its new investment in the above locations.
