| First Tourism Train from Sai Gon to Phan Thiet Starts | The first tourism train from Sai Gon to Phan Thiet departed at Sai Gon station on April 29, said the Sai Gon Railway Transport Company. This nearly-500-seat train is well-equipped with air-conditioners, soundproofed, insulation and other comfortable facilities.

The train will pick up and drop off passengers in Bien Hoa and Long Khanh in the southern province of Dong Nai. The train fares will be reduced by 20% from April 29 to June 30. For example, fares of Ho Chi MInh - Phan Thiet route are VND40,000 for a hard seat and VND 48,000 for a soft seat.
Deputy Director of the company Dinh Van Sang said because Phan Thiet station is 20 km away from Mui Ne resort, the company has contracted Tien Lam Company for the investment of 20 new tourism cars to carry passengers to resorts. The fare is VND15,000 a head a tour.
In addition, tourists can bring their motorbikes along with them on the cargo compartment of the train.
