For the fourth consecutive year Mobifone has won ‘Most popular mobile network.’ ‘Most popular mobile phone manufacturer’ and ‘Best retailer’ went to Nokia and World of Mobile Phones respectively. The other prizes were: ‘Awards for mobile phone networks’ - The network with best customer service: Mobifone - The network with best known brand: Viettel - The network with best non-voice service: Vinaphone - The network with the highest development of subscribers: Viettel - The most used wireless fixed network: EVN Telecom ‘Awards for mobile phone manufacturers’ - The best mobile phone for music: Sony Ericsson W980 - The best camera phone: Nokia N82 - The best mobile phone for playing games: Nokia N95 8GB - The most fashionable mobile phone: Nokia 6600 Slide/Fold - The mobile phone for business: Nokia E71 - Most popular multimedia mobile phone: Nokia N96 - Most popular touch-screen mobile phone: Samsung Omnia i900 - The most attractive low-cost mobile phone: Nokia 1200 ‘Awards for mobile phone retailers’ -The best retailer for price: World of Mobile Phones - The best retailer for customer services: Telecom A - The most promising retailer: Viettel The Vietnam Mobile Awards 2008 was launched December 24, 2008 and allowed hand-phone users in Vietnam to vote for their favorite brands. Customers have been able to vote via three means: sending a ballot published in Echip Mobile Magazine, voting on the Vietnamnet website, or sending an SMS. The Vietnam Mobile Awards is organized annually by Echip Mobile.
From 2006, the awards have been sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The Vietnam Mobile Awards is considered to be an accurate reflection of service users. |
