Vinaphone launches 3G services

Vinaphone, a leading mobile phone service provider in Vietnam, launched its third generation (3G) technology service network on Monday, becoming the first mobile operator to provide 3G in the country.

The operator provides six 3G services namely mobile internet, mobile broadband, video call, mobile camera, mobile TV and a 3G portal.

Vinaphone said its basic tariffs for the current 2G network are applied to the 3G services.

Vinaphone’s 3G network has covered 13 provinces.
