The Ministry of Science and Technology has decided to support expenditures of sixteen inventors – farmers and workers – including their transportation, design costs and providing a display stall for them at Techmart 2007, taking place from September 6-9 in Da Nang Province, declared Mr. Ta Ba Hung, representative of the Organization Board.

The inventions are those which have provided practical help in solving difficulties in local production as suggested by various cities and provinces’ Departments of Science and Technology, to be widely publicized via public media.
 
Example inventions are a combine harvester which can operate on any kind of land, a pepper-separating machine with a capacity of 700 kilos per hour and a machine that separates corn kernels from the cob at a speed of 250-300 kilograms per hour.
 
Not finishing high school and having products of science and technology recognized by the public are two basic criteria for choosing public investors.
