Fabsolve's products Meet with World Class Technology Firms

FabSolve, LLC, a provider of design based metrology (DBM) software for the semiconductor industry and a strategic development partner of DolSoft Inc., has just announced that it has been acquired by KLA-Tencor Corporation.

"We believe the core technologies utilized within the patented FabSolve software suite will be central to the next generation of semiconductor factory yield management efforts. FabSolve's geographical information systems (GIS) database structure as applied to Integrated Circuit (IC) design databases is used as a reference for accurately locating and classifying defects that otherwise might avoid classification using traditional methods," stated Paul Proctor, President of FabSolve, LLC.

Many of the core technology components utilized within FabSolve's software were created by DolSoft Inc. and assigned to FabSolve in connection with DolSoft's incubation of, and continuing development relationship with, FabSolve. "I am very pleased to see that elements of our GIS and image processing technologies can be used to assist world-class technology firms such as KLA-Tencor to further meet their customers' yield management goals," noted Tran Ba Hoang, Chairman of DolSoft Inc. Mr. Hoang also served as Chairman of the FabSolve Board of Management, assisting in the formation and development of FabSolve, LLC.
