The Ministry of Science and Technology  yesterday launched a science and technology website aimed at providing teenagers with information on a wide variety of topics including science and nature, technology, aeronautics and space, health, environment and the technology market.
 
The website also enables visitors to propose and offer the sale of their technological ideas and/or research online.

“The website’s principle aim is to help young people further their understanding of scientific and technological applications affecting modern business methods and production”, said Hoang Van Phong, Minister of Science and Technology.

He also noted that the website’s debut comes at a critical time, not only because Viet Nam has become a member of the World Trade Organization, but also because science and technology are considered key factors influencing the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods in the global marketplace.

The Ministry has committed itself to provide the resources required to keep the website current and running smoothly. It is hoped that it will become the most reliable of its kind for young people nationwide.
