Pakistani Ambassador to Viet Nam, Habib Ur Rahman, visited the Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper in Ho Chi Minh City today.

Mr. Hoang Van Khang, Deputy Editor-in-chief of the newspaper, welcomed the Pakistani Ambassador, acquainting him with Sai Gon Giai Phong’s publications and
talked about plans for the newspaper’s future development.
 
Speaking at the meeting, the Ambassador expressed his hope that Sai Gon Giai Phong and similar publications in Pakistan would be able to come together and make exchanges in the future.
 
He said Pakistan would welcome Sai Gon Giai Phong reporters to work as representatives in Karachi, a southern port city of Pakistan. They would be introduced to local Pakistani reporters with whom they could collaborate and exchange information.  
 
Previously, Le Hoang Quan, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, had received Mr. Habib Ur Rahman. At that time the ambassador had emphasized the need to establish a close relationship between Karachi and Ho Chi Minh City.
