| High tide forecast for Tet holidays in city | |
The water level will rise between 1.48 - 1.54 meters from January 24 to 28 at Phu An Post, Saigon River, which may cause flood during the Tet holidays, according to the Southern Regional Hydro-meteorological Center.
It is expected that the northeast monsoon will be accompanied by high tides in the first days of the lunar New Year.
The city's Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention has alerted local authorities to prepare for possible floods.
