10th National Party Congress Successfully Concludes

The 10th National Party Congress has come to a successful conclusion after eight working days. In his closing speech, General Secretary Nong Duc Manh said the documents approved at the Congress, were "the results of the intellect and the will of our entire Party and people, the in-depth practical and theoretical summation of 20 years of Renovation and the improvement and development of the policy and philosophy of renovations in the current period of our country's revolution."

Party Chief Nong Duc Manh Re-elected
|

The Communist Party of Viet Nam announced on April 25 that General Secretary Nong Duc Manh was re-elected to a second term. The Party Central Committee’s Politburo has 14 members, the Secretariat has 8 members, Inspection Commission has 14 members. |
