| Poor Households’ Rate to Be Reduced By 19.96 Percent | In the coming time, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) should focus on settling issues over human resources training, employment, and social evils, said Deputy Minister Pham Gia Khiem at the MOLISA’s conference on implementing the tasks of 2006 and setting targets for period 2006-2010.

Local authorities are giving aids to a poor household | The ministry plans to create more jobs for 1.6 million people in 2006, of whom 75,000 are laborers working overseas, especially to the new markets of the US, Italy and Australia.
The unemployment rate of urban areas will decrease to lower than 5.3 percent while 1.28 million students will be enrolled into vocational schools. The rate of poor households can be reduced by 19.96 percent and 90 percent of families recognized by the government for having done services to the country can have the same or better living standards compared with the average of other local residents.
This year, the ministry will also implement the project on developing labor markets in big cities, provinces and major economic zones. |
