The ground breaking ceremony of a sanitarium for veterans and people who were accredited with their helpful deeds during wartime, took place in Da Lat city (Lam Dong province), yesterday.

The sanitarium is built on an area of 36,000 square meters in Ward 10. It consists of four rows of convalescent homes with 54 beds, a meeting hall, a reading room, a physiotherapy room, and a flower-garden. The sanitarium will be constructed by Truong An Company, under the management of the Ministry of Transport, with the investment capital of VND 7.5 billion, of which Lam Dong province finances more than VND 4 billion. The project is expected to be completed by December, 2006.
