The Queen and her husband cut the ribbon to inaugurate a showroom of dried flowers set up by Da Lat Flower-Forest Biotechnology Corporation. The company is assisted under the Business Sector Program Support project launched by the Danish Government aimed to improve working conditions at small and medium-sized private firms. The showroom, the first of its kind in Vietnam, has thousands of artworks made of dried flowers. The Queen also went around the company’s nursery, getting a glimpse into the process of making and manipulating dried flowers. The same day, the couple also visited Dan Kia-Suoi Vang Water Supply Plant, which the Danish Government funded in 1982. |
