Quality rules hold up frozen foods at HCMC ports

The Ho Chi Minh City customs office said September 7 that hundreds of containers of frozen food have been held up at ports since the passing of a recent regulation requiring importers to get quality certificates.

The office said the prospects of the goods inside meeting safety standards are fairly unlikely.
