Traffic in Ho Chi Minh City came to a standstill November 25 as three hours of heavy unseasonal rain inundated streets.

Many vehicles broke down and roads were left flooded up to 50 centimeters under water, with some areas submerged even deeper.

Water also crept into houses in districts 6, 11, and Binh Thanh.

The unseasonal rain in the city resulted from the circulation of the atmosphere of a tropical depression with top winds of 49 km/h which is appearing in the East Sea.
