Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Support Campaign “Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh’s Example”

More than 600,000 youths, members of organizations, trade unions and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth leagues in the city take part in the competitions “Propagandizing Party Congress and President Ho Chi Minh’s Thought”, “Journal of Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh’s Example” and “Moral Examples of President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers”.

HCMC's youths paint graves at the Road No. 9 National Martyr Cemetery in Quang Tri.

The activities aim to support the campaign “Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh’s Example,” launched nationwide.

With regard to the duties of departments of propaganda and training of the City’s districts from now until the end of this year, Mr. Phan Xuan Bien, Director of the Culture and Ideology Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Communist Party, asked that units reflect the people’s thoughts and awareness, create belief among them in the Party’s leadership.

The units have to expand the campaign “Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh’s Example”, and organize storytelling competitions about Ho Chi Minh’s example, he added.
