The Vietnamese Ambassador to the US, Nguyen Tam Chien, visited the Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper Headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City on April 12, 2006.

He talked to Sai Gon Giai Phong representatives about the normalization of Viet Nam-US relations in the past, Viet Nam’s efforts to join the World Trade Organization, and Americans of Vietnamese origin in the US, etc.

Sai Gon Giai Phong Editor-in-Chief Duong Trong Dat thanked Mr. Chien for his visit and wished him good health to further enhance relations between Viet Nam and the US.

Mr. Chien is in Viet Nam to attend the 10th National Party Congress this April.
