Season change brings sickness to Ha Noi

With the climate changing from spring to summer in Ha Noi, the incidence of diseases like measles and minor ailments like sore throat, breathing problems and stuffy nose is rising sharply.

Hospitals are receiving an increasing numbers of patients, with Bach Mai, St. Paul hospitals, and Children’s Central Hospital mainly treating throat, nose, and breathing problems.

Other tropical diseases like chickenpox, measles, rubella, or mumps have also spread across Hanoi as the spring-summer period is very conducive to their development, says a doctor of Children’s Hospital Central in Ha Noi.
