There have been media reports that Korean and Chinese regulators tested 30 baby powder brands and found 12 containing carcinogen asbestos, including the popular German-made NUK brand.
MAPA is owned by French rubber and plastics conglomerate Hutchinson Worldwide.

Chinese authorities sealed 48 cans of NUK powder in Suzhou Debao Baby Supplies Co Ltd, the brand's general agent, following an inspection April 4 and ordered it removed from shelves around the country.
