New Vietnamese-Chinese Film Production about President Ho Chi Minh

China's Zhu Jiang Film Studio and the Viet Nam Writers' Association Film Studio will co-produce a new film about President Ho Chi Minh entitled Hanh trinh qua ba be at a cost of more than VND10 billion (over US$600,000).

A scene in the film Nguyen Ai Quoc in Hong Kong.

The film depicts historical events and activities on Uncle Ho’s voyage from Hong Kong to Shanghai and Xiamen with the aid of lawyer Loseby’s family.

The script is currently being revised with suggestions collected from scriptwriters, writers and historians.

Since the success of the film about Uncle Ho’s pre-presidential days in Hong Kong, “Nguyen Ai Quoc o Hong Kong”, the Viet Nam Writers' Association Film Studio has decided to produce a series of films depicting the life and times of President Ho Chi Minh.

And Hanh trinh qua ba be is considered as the second part of the film "Nguyen Ai Quoc in Hong Kong".
