The winners of the inaugural Viet Nam Model Awards will be known to the nation this Saturday evening when Channel VTV3 broadcasts the awards presentation live from eight o’clock.

These top models take part in the contest.

Launched in July, the contest lured many top models like Xuan Lan, Huynh Pham Ngoc, Thanh Hang, Thanh Hoai, Ngoc Diep, Tran Van Anh, Phi Thanh Van and Truc Diem.

It’s only four days away but there’s still time to vote, which the public can do by SMS or on the internet.

The top prize is VND50 million in cash, which will go to the winner of the Supermodel 2006 title.

There are also prizes for the friendliest face, the model most suited for advertising, the most “impressive” model, the most photogenic, the best figure, the model with the most promise, and the public’s favorite.

Two days beforehand, as a prelude to the grand finale, there’ll be a music and fashion show featuring the singers Dam Vinh Hung and Hien Thuc along with designs from Milano, Vo Viet Chung and Van Thanh Cong.
