HCMC exhibition salutes Truong Sa soldiers

An exhibition titled “Ho Chi Minh City’s feelings towards Truong Sa and offshore control platforms DK1” opened in the city October 13.

Offshore control platforms DK1 refer to outposts on the southern continental shelf, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, where border soldiers were stationed.

The exhibition features 175 color and black and white photos of the islands and DK1, including from six trips made by city authorities to these places.

Visitors can get a glimpse of the resilience and courage of the soldiers protecting the nation’s sovereignty.

The exhibition, organized the city People’s Committee and Fatherland Front and Navy High Command, is on at Lam Son Park, District 1.
