The stadium resounded with cheers from more than 20,000 rock fans when My Chemical Romance appeared.

The musical performance opened with Noi Vong Tay Lon (Joining Hands in a Great Circle), a familiar song of late Vietnamese famous composer Trinh Cong Son, performed by the Unlimited who attracted fans until their last song The final countdown.

Established in 2002, the Unlimited from Ho Chi Minh City is one of the most well-known rock bands in the country.

Meanwhile the first winner Ngu Cung of Ha Noi treated the audiences a new flavor in the songs Noi dau da cam (The Pain of Agent Orange/Dioxin), Gia com dem trang (Pounding  green rice in the moonlight night), Nu hon tren dinh Phansipan (A kiss on Phansipan).

They are a combination of highland folk songs of the northwestern mountainous regions and rock music. Ngu Cung received a standing ovation.

The rock storm really came to town when My Chemical Romance appeared. The band enthralled over 20,000 audiences with their skills in playing and singing music and exquisite performing styles.
Fans could not get enough from songs they performed including Diaappeard, Mama, Cemetery, Drive, Welcome to the black parade, Teenagers, I dont love you, Give em hell, House of wolves, In prison, Sleep, Cancer, Famous and more.

Perhaps Vietnamese fans satisfied their appetite with a wonderful rock party. “It’s a great night. We really rock together with a world leading band. I hope that there will be more concerts like this” said a rock fan.
