A photographic exhibition, “Images of Germany,” is on display at the Viet Nam Art Museum at 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street in Ha Noi as part of a world tour.
The exhibition, showing until January 27, comprises 60 photos depicting life in modern Germany.
The display was organized by German Photographers’ Association Ostkreuz, one of the most important journalism photography agencies in Germany.
Wolfgang Bellwinkel, creator of “Homeland” photo collection, delivered a speech to art lovers at the museum Saturday.
In related news, another art exhibition, “The Group,” is on display at Viet Art Center at 42 Yet Kieu Street in Ha Noi until January 28.
Artist Thuy Hang used 13 dry tree branches, 1,000 meters of white cloth and composite sheets, and zinc and iron strings to create “Garden of white trees.”
Hang said she wanted to depict images and stories about plants and the environment from nature and her imagination.
Hang is the author of the book series “Today, Pleasure and Reasonable Mania,” published in 2006 by Youth Publishing House.
