The photo exhibition “Truong Son Mountain Road” features 15 pictures selected from 400 works by photographer, Do Trong Nghia.

The photos were taken during his 15-day motorbike trip from the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum to Thanh Hoa Province in April of last year.

They depict the Truong Son Mountain’s zigzagging roads along the Truong Son Range, with immense rice field landscapes and the daily activities of the people in remote areas.

From the first footpath crossing over the mountain range to the victorious Ho Chi Minh Campaign of 1975, this strategic road developed into a network of other roads along the Truong Son Mountain on its eastern and western flanks and 21 lateral roads leading to the major battle fronts in wartime.

Born in 1964, photographer Do Trong Nghia, an official of Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Affairs Office, is a member of the Viet Nam Photography Association. He won several international prizes in countries like Macédonia, Belgium, Austria, Singapore.
