Central City Hosts Environmental Photo Exhibition

A photo exhibition themed “Environment Around Us – Life Around Us” featuring the environment, natural landscapes and preservation activities was opened Thursday in the central Da Nang city to run till January 22.

A photo titled "Maternal love" taken by Chuong Cau.

The photos on display are categorized into three groups: “Environment Around Us – Life Around Us”, “Fresher Air – Better Life” and those about red-headed cranes taken by photographer Minh Loc.

They are mostly winners of the “Environment Around Us – Life Around Us” contest launched late last August. As of November, 3,515 color photos and 106 black and white ones taken by 472 photographers and amateurs, including one from Korea had been submitted.

Many condemn acts that pollute the environment and eco-system or threaten human health.

The exhibition is being held by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Viet Nam Photographic Artists’ Association. It is also partially sponsored by the Viet Nam-Switzerland Fresh Air Program.
