| Exhibition of photos and documents from the times Ho Chi Minh spent in Paris takes place at the History Museum in Montreuil. |
The display is divided into two periods: 1919-1920, when the young Nguyen Ai Quoc, as he was then known, traveled to France to further his quest for Viet Nam’s independence, and the autumn of 1946.
It is a chance for French people and international visitors to learn more about the revolutionary and founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, a man whom UNESCO described as one of the “world’s cultural celebrities”.
Running until December 30, the exhibition is one of several activities for the seventh conference of Vietnamese and French local governments in Montreuil today and tomorrow.
