Government to continue issuing international bonds

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on November 2 signed a decision to continue issue of international bonds until the end of next year.

The Ministry of Finance is allowed to determine the coupon rate and term but has to ensure the rate on 10-year bonds is not above 7 percent.

Of the amount of money raised through the issues, $700 million will be returned to the national budget. The rest will be handed over to the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
