Over 150 exhibitors present at int’l industrial fair

International industrial fair EPM LINKAGE Vietnam 2009 opened in Ho Chi Minh City Thursday with over 150 exhibitors.

The event, held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7 until Oct. 17, focuses on machine technology, automation, power transmission and control technology, electricity and the energy industry, environmental protection and water management.

The exhibitors come from Germany, France, Italy, India, Israel, Hungary, Korea, China, Spain, Singapore and Vietnam.

More than 200 booths showcase industrial products, technologies and services. There are also the Taiwan pavilion, organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, and the Singapore pavilion, organized by the Overseas Market Development Association of Singapore.

For the first time, the Spanish association of Electrical Equipment Manufacturers (Amec Amelec) joins the show.

During the three-day event, Germany will be represented by political and business delegations such as the delegation from the Ministry of Economics, Transport, Urban and Regional Development of the State of Hessen, Germany, with Deputy Minister Steffen Saebisch.

The fair is organized by Deutsche Messe AG from Hannover, Germany, in cooperation with Chan Chao International Co. Ltd. from Taiwan, and Planetfair Asia Pte. Ltd. of Singapore.
