| Vietnam Company receives Korean oil tanker | |
Vietnam Tanker Joint Stock Company – Vitaco has received the oil tanker ‘Petrolimex 11’ January 3. It has a dead weight of 40,019 tons and is moored at the B oil warehouse in Nha Be Petroleum Base Depot.

The vessel was built in Korea with advanced technology and automatic controls and meets ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) standards and international conventions.
The vessel, 176 meter long, 31m wide and 17m high, has a waterline of 10.5m and an engine capacity of 11,640HP (8,567kw).
Luu Van Thang, the general director of Vitaco said Petrolimex 11 is the largest and most modern oil and chemical tanker in Vietnam, worth $50.6 million.
The vessel carried its first load, non-leaded gasoline, ‘M92’, from Korea to Vietnam.
In 2008, Vitaco received three oil tankers, Petrolimex 11, 12 and 14, increasing its total oil tankers to six.
