| Large Offshore Oil and Gas Reserves Discovered | Large oil and gas reserves have just been discovered at Te Giac Trang (White Rhino) well, at Block 16-1, offshore Vung Tau beach, said Vu Van Ha, the head of International Cooperation Department of the Viet Nam Petroleum Corporation – PetroVietnam.
The test on this new oil-bearing bed has showed that the crude oil flow can reach about 3,300 barrels a day and the volume of gas equals 25,000 cubic meters. Currently the Vietnamese Company, together with their US, British and Thai counterparts in the project are continuing exploratory drilling to verify the oil and gas reserves.
