| Oil exploitation in the Big Bear Mine |
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has given PetroVietnam and its Petroleum Exploration and Production subsidiary the go-ahead to continue exploring and mapping Block 05-1 of the Dai Hung (Big Bear) gas and oil field.
According to a report signed by the PM, Big Bear contains reserves of nearly 355 million barrels of crude oil, 8.5 billion cubic meters of gas and 1.48 million barrels of condensate.
